Happy Halloween

Amelia's first halloween! We made sugar cookies and then went to a Halloween party. She liked seeing the other kids that she didn't even touch her feathers. I wasn't sure they would survive the evening but they made it home in one piece!

Expanding horizons

In an effort to introduce Amelia to all foods, I gave her a cucumber today to "munch." Her face says it all.

Dinner

I think the days of us going out to eat and Amelia sitting quietly in her stroller are officially over.  We had to take turns with her when we went out to eat with some friends last weekend.  She's so busy!

Flea market

We ventured out this morning to the flea market. Maybe a mistake since at 9 am it was 95 degrees! It was like a giant garage sale. Amelia was a trooper but much happier when got got her out of the stroller and carried her.

The pacifier

This comes in handy when I'm driving and can't turn around to help her get it in the right way. 

Arms up

Ever since Amelia was born she's wanted her arms up by her head when she sleeps. Now that she's not swaddled when she sleeps, this is her favorite sleeping position. We know she's in a deep sleep when we see her like this.
