Father's day

Josh was in Minnesota on Father's day last week so we're celebrating today. He got breakfast in bed and a home made cherry pie. Despite all of that I think this was his favorite part...a Friday afternoon nap with Amelia.

Hands

I put a key chain in her hand the other day and she held on long enough to shake them a few times, smack herself in the face, then let go. At least at the end she was still smiling!

Yas Marina

We found a Groupon for a 20 minute ride in a Formula One race car at the Yas Marina Circuit.  Our friends sick at the last minute so we were left with two rides.  Josh offered the second ride to me but I gladly let him ride twice.  After seeing how fast they went and Josh's face after they were done, I know I made the right decision.

Lunch break

A few minutes into Amelia's "lunch" today she stopped, looked up at me and started cooing and smiling.  I tried multiple times to get her to start again but she wouldn't have any of it.  She had something she wanted to say and she wasn't going to stop until it was said.  It's actually been happening for the past few days, she's more interested in "talking" than eating.  Hmm...what does that mean for the future?
